SONG: 5 A DAY By Paul Martínez

1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 a day!
Listen everybody to what we say,
Eat fruit and vegetables every day.
You stay fit and healthy that way.

Give me 5!     5 a day!
One! Bananas for my breakfast.
Two! Pineapple for my break.
Three! Beans for my lunch.
Four! Plums for my snack.
Five! Potatoes for my dinner.
Give me 5!     5 a day!

1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 a day!
Listen everybody to what we say,
Eat fruit and vegetables every day.
You stay fit and healthy that way.

VIDEO: LIFE IN SPACE ( BS3 UNIT 4)

This video and its rights are property of Oxford University Press.
The share in this blog has no commercial, but educational purposes.

This is the international space station. It is 386km above Earth. It travels very fast. Sometimes, you can see it from Earth with your eyes.

Astronauts live on the space station. Living in space is difficult because there isn’t any air. It’s difficult to work in space too.

Astronauts do exercise every day to keep healthy. This astronaut likes running. And this astronaut likes riding a bike.

Eating and drinking in space is difficult too. Astronauts eat special food and drink special juice. They need lots of vitamins, so they eat fruit.

Astronauts wear a spacesuit when they go outside. They wear a helmet and gloves too.

In the future, maybe we can live on the moon.

EASTER SONGS

Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hopping, Easter's on its way

Bringing every girl and boy
Baskets full of Easter joy
Things to make your Easter bright and gay

He's got jelly beans for Tommy
Colored eggs for sister Sue
There's an orchid for your mommy
And an Easter bonnet too

Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity, happy Easter Day

Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hopping, Easter's on its way

Try to do the things you should
Maybe if you're extra good
He'll roll lots of Easter eggs your way

You'll wake up on Easter morning
And you'll know that he was there
When you find those chocolate bunnies
That he's hiding everywhere

Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity, happy Easter Day
Hippity hoppity, happy Easter Day

Easter Day Song

Easter Bunny
Looking kind of funny
With your basket of eggs
Children singing
‘What’s the bunny bringing
For me on Easter Day?”

Mom is cooking
While we’re out there looking
For the eggs hidden away
After church we
Gathered ‘round with family
On this Easter Day

Two thousand years ago
Jesus died for our sins
Remember his resurrection
And the joy it brings

Flowers blooming
Springtime’s looming
Everything is coming alive
Easter colours
Yellow, blue and others
Tell us Spring has arrived

Children are playing
And everybody’s saying
“So good to see you today!”
We’re all together
The merrier the better
On this Easter holiday

Two thousand years ago
Jesus died for our sins
Remember his resurrection
And the joy it brings

Flowers are blooming
And springtime’s looming
Oh what a wonderful day
We’re all together
The more of us the better
On this Easter holiday
A lovely Easter holiday
I like my Easter holiday

WHITE HOUSE EASTER EGG ROLL EVENT

Today is Easter Day and more than 30,000 people are having lots of fun at the White House with president Obama and his family. People who want to participate need an invitation. To get an invitation you have to enter and win the White House Easter Egg Roll Lottery. Lottery tickets are free, but limited.
This year's theme "Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape," encourages children to have healthy, sporty and active lives in support of the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative. In addition to the fun and games, the day's activities will help educate families on smart ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise choices into their daily routines.

The White House Easter Egg Roll is a tradition that dates to 1878. Children ages 13 years and younger and their families are invited to participate. There are lots of different activities and live entertainment, music, sports, games, stories, singing, dancing and interactive cooking demonstrations.
Visit the Official White House website to view photos and videos of past events and learn more about the history of the White House Easter Egg Roll.
