SONG: ANIMAL BUS
A fun song about African animals by Peter Weatherall.
In the Kalahari you can catch a bus
going on safari. Why don't you join us?
On the animal, animal, animal bus
you can sit next to a rhinoceros
Animal, animal, animal bus
Why don't you come ride with us?
Crocodiles in the aisle, hippos in the back,
chimpanzees and lions clinging to the roof rack.
On the animal, animal, animal bus
you can sit next to a rhinoceros
Animal, animal, animal bus
Why don't you come ride with us?
There's a pair of elephants in the struggling zoo
wilder beast and zebras but there's some roof for you
Tall giraffes and their cubs are leaning out the door
leopard, snakes and cheetahs are colder on the floor.
On the animal, animal, animal bus
you can sit next to a rhinoceros
Animal, animal, animal bus
why don't you come ride with us?
There's a pair of elephants in the struggling zoo
wilder beast and zebras but there's a roof for you
On the animal, animal, animal bus
Why don't you come ride with us?
On the animal bus!

DINOSAUR SONG
They used to walk. They used to swim.
They used to fly with a toothy grin.
Some ate plants and some ate meat.
Some walked around on just two feet.
[CHORUS]
Oh, the dinosaurs! Big as trees!
Dinosaurs! Brains like peas!
Jaws and claws and teeth and bone…
that used to growl, groan, and moan.
Some had feathers. Some had scales.
Spikes, clubs, and whip-like tails.
They fought like dragons. The earth sure shook.
The volcanoes sizzled and the lava cooked.
[CHORUS]
Tyrannosaurus Rex was a terrible king.
The Stegosaurus’ tail could really swing.
Brachiosaurus liked to stomp.
Trachodon would chew and chomp.
[CHORUS]
They roamed the earth, a hundred million years…
without worries, cares, or fears.
Then one day they hit the soil…
now they’re fossils, gas, and oil!
[CHORUS] x2
