TEACHER'S DAY

In many countries, Teachers' Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers. It's celebrated on November 27th In Spain. This day was established to honor Joseph Calasanz. He was educator and the patron saint of the first popular Christian school in Europe.

The date on which Teachers' Day is celebrated varies from country to country. Teachers' days in different countries are distinct from World Teachers' Day, which is celebrated on 5th October.

SONG: BUSY PREPOSITIONS

<

Like a butterfly, or a like bee
Like an ant, as busy as can be
These little words we call the "busy P's"
Prepositions

Nine or ten of them
Do most all of the work
Of, on, to, with, in, from
By, for, at, over, across
And many others do their jobs
Which is simply to connect
Their noun or pronoun object
To some other word in the sentence

Busy P's
If you please
"On the top is where you are!"
Top relates to where you are
"With a friend you'll travel far!"
With a friend you'll go
"If you try you know that you can fly
Over the rainbow!"
Over the rainbow is where you can fly

Busy prepositions
Always on the go
Like a bunch of busy bees
Floating pollen on the breeze
Buzzing over the meadows
Beyond the forest
Through the trees
In to the beehive
Busy, busy P's
In, to, beyond, over, on, through!

Busy prepositions always out in front
On the edges, in the crack
Around the corner, from the back
In between the action
Stating clearly to your satisfaction
The location and direction
Prepositions give specific information

Though little words they are
They never stand alone
Gathering words behind them
You soon will see how they have grown
Into a parade; a prepositional phrase
With a noun, or at least a pronoun, bringing up the rear
A little phrase of two or three or four or more words

Prepositions! Attention! Forward, march!
Busy prepositions
Always on the march
Like a horde of solider ants
Inching bravely forward on the slimmest chance
That they might better their positions
Busy, busy prepositions
In the air, on the ground, everywhere

The sun sank lower in the west
"In the west it sank"
And it will rise in the morning
And will bring the light of day
We say the sun comes up in the east every day!
"In the east it rises"

Busy prepositions
Busy, busy, busy!
On the top is where you are!
On the top
If you try you know that you can fly!
Fly where?
Over the rainbow

SONG: PREPOSITION BY The Bazillions

Preposition, it’s your ambition

to tell me tell me tell me

exactly my position

I could be on the couch

or outside my house

am I across the street

or within your reach

Did I go up the stairs

or fall off my chair

am I in front of you

are you behind me too

Preposition, it’s your ambition

to tell me tell me tell me

exactly my position

Preposition, You’re on a mission
to tell me tell me tell me
exactly my position

Now take a walk with me

and we’ll go by the sea

and then along the path

that goes around and back

and underneath the waves

or inside a cave

and before we’re through

we’ll jump over the moon

Preposition, it’s your ambition

to tell me tell me tell me

exactly my position

Preposition, You’re on a mission ...

Now I’m about to say

without further delay

when you’re next to me

that’s where I want to be
now we’re near the end
but we’re among good friends
so then after this line
We’ll do it one more time

Preposition, it’s your ambition

to tell me tell me tell me

exactly my position

Preposition, You’re on a mission
to tell me tell me tell me
exactly my position

MY FAVOURITE POP GROUP By Hughes Giménez

Hello. I’m Hughes from class 6B. I like music, and my favourite music group is Pentatonix. They are from U.S.A. This group is five years old and  has got seven cd’s. I’ve got one cd. They sing but they don't play any musical instruments. Pentatonix have got five singers: Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola. My favourite song is Daft Punk. It's the most famous song of Pentatonix.
Bye,bye.

In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
There's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
We were dancing all night long

Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
I wish this dream comes true

One more time
Were gonna celebrate
Oh yeah, all right
Don't stop the dancing

MY EASTER WEEK By CHARLIE ALONSO

Hi Mary, I’m Charlie from class 5º a.  This is my project about my Easter Week.

Last week I was in ÚBEDA (JAÉN).
I go with my family because we are penitents.
I wear a tunic and you can’t see my face.

We march along the streets in the city  in a procession.
We walk for 4 hours, at night and we finish very tired.
In this photo my uncle is the first in the middle, my dad is the second on the right and I’m behind him.

This is me!!!!!!!  I have a small light.
This is my favourite photo.

This is the Christ of the Dark Night. The penitents carry him on their shoulders.

We finish very late, at 3:30 am. There are lots of penitents.   SEE!!
Every light is a penitent.

See you Mary!!!!!!
