LITTLE LEPRECHAUN SONG
I'm a little leprechaun
Dressed in green,
The tiniest man
That you have seen.
If you ever catch me, so it's told,
I'll give you my big pot of gold.
I’m a little leprechaun
Imagine that
With my little green boots
And my big green hat
At the end of the rainbow
So, it’s told
You will find my pot of gold
I'm a little leprechaun
Dressed in green,
The tiniest man
That you have seen.
If you ever catch me, so it's told,

STORY: THE FOUR DRAGONS ( BS 5 UNIT 6)

Once upon a time, there were no rivers and lakes in China. There was only the Eastern Sea. Four dragons lived in the sea.
‘I'm the black dragon.’‘I'm the yellow dragon.’
‘I'm the long dragon.’
‘I'm the pearl dragon.’
One day they visited the centre of China.
‘Come over here quickly!’
‘What's wrong?’
‘The people are sad.’
The people prayed.
‘Our children are hungry.’
‘God, please send rain quickly.’
‘We need rain to grow rice.’
It was very sunny and there was no rain. The rice plants died. The dragons decided to ask the Emperor for rain.
‘The people need our help.’
‘Let's go and see the Emperor.’
The dragons asked the Emperor for rain.
‘Please send rain quickly, Your Majesty.’
But the Emperor was not interested, he was more interested in the songs of the fairies.
‘Yes, yes, OK. Tomorrow.’
‘Thank you, Your Majesty!’
Ten days passed and there was still no rain. The people were very hungry and the dragons were very unhappy.
‘Our rice fields are dry.’
‘We have no rice.’
‘The Emperor isn't worried about the people. He's listening to the songs of the fairies.’
‘I've got an idea. There's lots of water in the sea. Let's take some to the people.’
‘Great idea! Come on. Let's help the people!’
The dragons transported water from the sea to the people.
‘It's raining! It's raining!’
‘We can grow rice again!’
But the Emperor was very angry.
‘How dare the four dragons bring rain. Mountain God, go and get four mountains and trap the dragons so that they can't escape! They can stay there forever!’
The Mountain God was magic and he trapped the four dragons with four mountains.
‘We're trapped!’
‘But we can still help the people.’
Each dragon was now a big river. And this is why China has got four great rivers.
‘I'm the river in the centre of China.’
‘I'm the river in the north of China.’
‘I'm the river in the south of China.’
‘I'm the river in the far south of China.’
