She’s got brown eyes, she’s got brown eyes.
She’s got brown eyes, that queen of jazz.

Fifi the dog! Fifi the dog!
The queen of jazz and razzamatazz!
Bow-wow-wow! Bow-wow-wow!
She’s got brown eyes, that queen of jazz!

She’s got big ears, she’s got big ears.
She’s got big ears that queen of jazz.

Fifi the dog …

ARBOR DAY

Arbor Day (arbor is tree in Latin) is a holiday celebrated in many countries all around the world. This is a day to plant and care for trees. The date varies depending on climate, but it is usually observed in spring.
In the USA, National Arbor Day is celebrated every year on the last Friday in April.
In Spain, each municipality or colective decides the date for its Arbor Day, usually between February and May.

The first celebration of Arbor Day in the world was in the small Spanish village of Villanueva de la Sierra (Cáceres) in 1805. On Tuesday Carnival, D. Ramón Vacas Roxo, the local priest, decided to plant trees in the village with the enthusiastic support of the entire population

EARTH DAY SONG

This is our world, ah, oh,
This is our earth, ah, oh,
This is the place where we belong
This is our home, ah, oh,
This is our time, ah, oh,
This is the place where we come from

Pick up the trash, put it where it should go
you do your part, preserve this earth you know

This is our world, ah, oh,
This is our earth, ah, oh,
This is the place where we belong
This is our home, ah, oh,
This is our time, ah, oh,
This is the place where we come from

Try to reuse, recycle what you can
can do your part and give a helping hand

This is our world, ah, oh,
This is our earth, ah, oh,
This is the place where we belong
This is our home, ah, oh,
This is our time, ah, oh,
This is the place where we come from

Just be aware of your environment
you do your part to love, preserve, protect

This is our world, ah, oh,
This is our earth, ah, oh,
This is the place where we belong
This is our home, ah, oh,
This is our time, ah, oh,
This is the place where we come from
This is the place where we come from

EASTER BONNET PARADE AT NEW YORK CITY

Watch these videos and you'll see hundreds of people walking along Fifth Avenue and wearing unusual colourful hats.

EGG ROLLING COMPETITION AT IOWA ( USA)

In this fun race, children roll their egg to the finish line and want to be winners. It's really difficult to "roll" an egg because of its shape. You never know which way it will go. In these videos you can see some children having an "egg-citing" time trying to roll eggs.

EASTER!!! By Mary Gracia

Hello everyone!!
I'm Mary. I'm eleven years old. I live in Spain (Valencia).
Easter holidays are very special for my family because we eat Easter "mona". Eating the "mona" is a tradition in Spain.
At Easter my family and me  don't travel because my parents work.
Easter is great fun because there are long holidays.
These holidays my cousins and I go to the park.
This is my Easter egg. For me it's the best egg in the world.
It's perfect!!!!!

  Easter!

Goodbye!!

What do you and your family do at Easter? Write a comment and tell me.
