MESSAGES FOR PEACE

  • Peace starts with a smile. By Mother Teresa de Calcuta
  • Peace at home, peace in the world.  By  Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
  • Make love, not war. By Gershon Legman
  • There is no way to peace; peace is the way. By A. J. Muste
  • When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.  By Jimi Hendrix

                            A POEM FOR PEACE

If there is to be peace in the world,
There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
There must be peace between neighbours.
If there is to be peace between neighbours,
There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
There must be peace in the heart.

By Lao Tzu (570 - 490 B.C.)
