He was one of the four members of The Beatles, a vey famous pop-rock band in the 1960s.
1963-64 was a period of Beatlemania in The UK and the band had millions of FANS all over the world.
He wrote lots og songs for The Beatles.
In 1970 the band broke up and John continued his artistic solo career. He wrote Imagine in 1971 and the song has become a hymn to PEACE. Watch these videos and sing along.
